If I wasn’t a scientist I would be an archaeologist. If I can’t be Mr Spock I would want to be Indiana Jones!

Hello Elib! Before I came into the science field, I actually worked as an investment manager (someone who manages money) in London. My first degree was in Business and Economics! It was whilst I was working that I started to become more and more obsessed about geology (study rocks) and volcanology (studying volcanoes) and did a second degree in Natural Science: Earth Science and then a masters in Geoscience. I loved it so much I then did a Phd in studying rocks that were brought back from the Moon by NASA astronauts! So, if I weren’t a scientist, I would probably still be an investment manager (which is a great career choice!) but being a scientist is much more fun : -)

I used to work as an engineer, so maybe that, I also like being outdoors and climbing, so maybe something that would let me do that?
