Hi Kane! I’ve visited and climbed a lot of volcanoes in Europe. The most impressive was Etna in Sicily which was erupting hot red flows of lava when I was there! Stromboli is the other well known volcano is Sicily and, when I visited, it was erupting steam (different gases) every 30 minutes. The other great place to go is Iceland! There are more than 100 volcanic mountains in Iceland! One erupted in 2010 and released so much ash that aeroplanes in Europe couldn’t fly! That volcano is called ‘Eyjafjallajökull’! See if you can pronounce that ; -)

I have visited Mt Tiede in Tenerife- it is a beautiful volcanic island! It even has a forest called the “cloud forest”
