Now that Pluto is no longer a planet (it’s a dwarf planet instead), Neptune is the coldest. Although Uranus, the next planet is is fairly cold too. The average temperature of Neptune is minus 210C ! But it still has seasons, so can get a bit warmer in places where it is summer. But not much warmer! πŸ™‚

Being the furthest planet from the sun it’s definitely the one that receives the least energy and where you don’t want to go for a Sunny holiday. If you want hot temperatures and clear skies, your best bet is Mercury, but Venus can be even hotter because its atmosphere traps heat from the Sun, even though it is not as close as Mercury πŸ™‚

Hello Qinlan, What a great question! Neptune is a very cold planet…the coldest of the planets in the Solar System! The hottest planet is Venus, even though it is not the closest to the Sun. Mercury is the closest to the Sun but because it doesn’t have an atmosphere, it can’t trapped as much heat as Venus can : -)
