Mars used to be a warm and wet planet with an ocean but now it is a cold and dry desert planet. So the climate has changed a huge amount. But under the soil there are large glaciers, there are ice caps at the poles like the Earth has and there may be water underground. So it is not as dry as it first appeared. Do it is very interesting to study how the planet has changed and where the water went. 😀
