Hello Nyah! I use lots of very expensive science instruments to measure my samples. First of all, I use microscopes that show me the details of the Moon rock crystals on at the micro-scale, then I put the samples into a large ion (charged atoms) mass spectrometer that is capable of releasing the chemical elements I am interested in and can then measure them! I’m particularly interested in sulphur and chlorine within the crystals. For some of the samples, I have used the UK’s largest synchrotron (like Cern in Switzerland!) to fire X-rays at my samples! That was really fun! : -)
