• Question: How do you get the rockets from the moon?

      Hi Maisey! What a great technical question! The great thing about leaving the Moon after doing lots of Moon science is that there is very little gravity. You may have seen astronauts bouncing around in their spacesuits on the Moon! You can’t do that on Earth because there is more gravity. That means that launching a rocket from the Moon is far easier than launching one from Earth! No launch pads and enormous engines are needed. The space-craft had its own rocket engine which was enough to achieve lift off from the Moon : -)
