I have had lots and lots and lots! I started out at university studying astronomy but changed to archaeology and did that for a bit. Then I worked in a bank. Then I became a journalist. Then I studied law and worked at a law school. But then I finally did a physics – astronomy degree all the way through and knew that science was my favourite thing. That is why I am now doing a PhD studying Mars and its climate. It is the best! 🙂

Hello Elib! Absolutely! I used to be a money manager in London! 🙂 There are no direct routes into science and you don’t have to chose to be a scientist when you leave school 🙂 Take some time to think through your options 🙂

Yeah! At school I really like music and I still play a few instruments now. I also like rock climbing and playing video games. I don’t think anybody can only think about science 24/7, everyone needs breaks 🙂
